News and Recent Happenings

Since arriving in Austria in early January, I couldn't be happier, doing what I love, skiing.  I am based in Leogang, Austria with a small SL focused group of athletes at HPC Racing Austria.  The training venue is awesome, we have three coaches for six athletes. 

My racing since I have been here has taken me to some places I have never been to before, scoring some good results and chipping away little by little.

My biggest accomplishment lately was participating in the 2025 World Alpine Ski Championships in Saalbach, Austria, just around the corner from my training venue.  Slalom qualification day was extremely stressful.  Three of my Australian teammates also needed to qualify in order to advance through to the main event.  There were 138 competitors and only 25 make it through.  I did it, I qualified 19th.

I was so unbelievably grateful to be able to represent Australia on the world stage.  Although I didn't quite make it down first run of the main event, I was very happy with my skiing and intensity I brought in the main event and on qualification day.  Skiing alongside my Aussie teammates at an event like this was an experience I will never forget and having my sister competing alongside me was even more special.

Huge thank you to all of those that have supported me throughout this journey, especially Mum and Dad.  I am so keen for more opportunities like this.

Relocating to Austria for the 2025 season in January was one of the best decisions.  I finished out the 2025 season with some great results and PB's.  I am thankful for the opportunity I have been afforded.  Having achieved some great results this past season, I am looking forward to the Southern Hemisphere in July 2025.   Right now, I am working on strength and fitness to prepare for the season ahead.
